                 Toswiah and Carmen Green’s father is a

policeman.  Every time their dad comes

home, he says “So how are my copper

pennies doing?”  Their father witnessed

a murder case and they keep getting

creepy phone calls and threats. The family

is forced to move into a dark van.  Will

they ever be able to have a normal life?

 

 

 

 

 

                 Esperanza lives with her family on a ranch

  in Mexico.  A few days before her birthday,

  her dad had to go herd the sheep.

  Her dad never returned home.  Her father’s

  brother wanted to her marry her mom. 

  Esperanza’s mother is thinking of fleeing

  with Esperanza to the U.S.  Will her

  mother marry her father’s brother or run

Carmen, Tibby, Bridget and Lena have

spent every summer together since they

were born.  Their moms met in aerobics class.

The girls went shopping together before summer

break and Tibby tried on the pair of pants.

The girls found that the pants fit each of them

perfectly.  The pants must be magical!  See what magic

the pants bring to each of the girls that summer.   

                 Louise and Caroline Bradshaw are sisters

that have totally different lives.  Louise is

jealous of Caroline because everybody

likes Caroline and she is very talented and

pretty. Louise likes to go crabbing with

Call who is a close friend of hers. 

Eventually Louise and Caroline both have

crushes on Call.  Will Call like either one

of them back?

                 Sunny’s older sister Jazz ran away to New

York.  One night Jazz’ apartment caught on fire.

The police say Jazz is probably dead but

they weren’t really sure yet. A week or two

later all of a sudden a letter came and it was

from Jazz.  But it couldn’t be because Jazz

was dead.  Is the letter really from Jazz

or is it from someone else?
